Check-In + Getting to Camp
On the first day of camp, meet us for check-in at Ironton Distillery. We will have lighter lunch fare and coffee available but don’t forget to eat some breakfast! We'll be introducing camp leaders and meeting fellow campers.
Check In Time: 10:30AM - 11:00AM, August 15th
You may want to fly in the night before (Wednesday) to make sure you will make it on time to check in.
Please consider taking a Lyft or Uber to minimize parking issues. From Ironton, we'll load into a private bus and head to camp!
What to Pack
They say that "if you don't like the weather in Colorado, just wait five minutes." Colorado weather is hit or miss but August in Deckers, CO you can expect highs in the high 80's and lows in the mid 50’s. We don’t expect snow this time of year but we may experience some afternoon rain showers.
Here's what we'd suggest you pack:
Sunglasses
Swimwear
Shorts (it’ll be hot during the day)
Hiking sandals or running shoes
Light layers (fleece, flannel, etc.) or Puffy jacket
Sunblock
Ear plugs (if you're a light sleeper)
A towel and soap/shampoo (if you plan to shower)
A (non-phone) camera
Your (amazing) costume!
Your pillow (unless you requested one)
Your sleeping bag (unless you requested one)
And… a few optional items:
Yoga mat (the camp has a few on site)
Headlamp
Rain jacket (rain chances are low, but…)
A watch
Getting back home
On Sunday, we'll have some time to pack up before we head back to Denver on the bus.
We'll be meeting back at Ironton Distillery (the same place we left from) at 2PM on Sunday. This should give you time to say your final goodbyes and catch your flight back if you're headed to DIA. Ironton has also offered to provide attendees with a camp discount if you’d like to hang around and have a cocktail before you depart. Just show them your RAD Summit registration! Trust us, it’s much cheaper than a drink at the airport and you won’t be disappointed.
