Tl;dr - We have no plans to cancel, adjust or postpone RAD Summit at this time.
What a wild ride we’ve all been on these past few weeks and months. We know many of you are still adjusting to a “new normal” and the unfortunate reality of a global pandemic. We know things are tough right now for many folks, and a conference – no matter how RAD it may be – is probably not the first thing you’re thinking about. However, we’re staying optimistic and hope RAD Summit is still something you can look forward to as a bright spot in August.
The RAD team met earlier this week and our plan is simple: we’re forging ahead with our plans and will continue working to build the best camp-style conference experience possible. We imagine that by August, everyone will be itching to get away to the mountains with us and have some room to think, breathe, learn and relax.
So, for now, we’re not planning to cancel, adjust or postpone the event.
We are monitoring the situation closely and meet at least once a week to review plans and progress. If anything does change, we’ll give you advanced warning and will clearly communicate our decisions. For now, please do what you can to #FlattenTheCurve and know that we’re all in this together. It’s a tough time for us all, especially those who don’t have the luxury of working from home or who have kids. It may feel like it’s tough to get anything done, but remember: you’re not an imposter… you’re RAD.
Feel free to email us (founders@radsummit.co) if you have questions, concerns or just some positivity to share :-)
We hope to see you in August,
Jeff, Tessa and Chris - RAD Summit Founders
