Why are you teaching at RAD Summit?
”You seem like my people. Makers, creators, appreciators of planet earth who are pushing yourself to the edge. You are the perfect people to help me expand my thinking about my latest experiment, DesignSchport!”

What’s your craziest camping or outdoor experience?
”Singing with seals. I was an opera singer in my 20’s. One August I took my friends out in my dad’s Boston Whaler to a deserted string of islands that appeared at low tide off the elbow of Cape Cod. We walked the beach and I spotted a patrol of three seals tracking us from the surf. My friend said, “sing to them.” I did. And then to our amazement those seals poured out a rolling deep lowing over the waves. Those seals sang back.”

Meet your facilitator
Suzi believes most people have tremendous untapped creative potential. Her mission is to amplify creative confidence. One of her most recent experiments is DesignSchport - experiences which empowers creatives to learn & teach design theory through physical movement.

For more than 20 years, Suzanne (Suzi) Hamill has designed and launched companies and digital products impacting how people live day-to-day. Most recently, Suzi was Head of Design Thinking at Fidelity Investments. Currently, Suzi consults with organizations to grow using human centered design. Suzi has lectured at Stanford University, Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University, Berklee School of Music, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
