About this workshop:
Summary
Art is transformative. It records and reveals our humanity. It helps us to relate to one another, better understand our human experience, and process our emotions. It’s also a powerful and underutilized tool for healing.
In this hands-on abstract painting workshop, you will learn how Angela’s background in UX research and fine art has led her to create custom, abstract paintings for people who have experienced loss. Her process is inspired largely by design thinking, which then informs the creation of an original, abstract painting that tells the unique stories of her clients and gives them a sense of strength, hope and transformation through some of their most difficult challenges.
Angela will walk through her process then you will follow a similar process to create your own abstract painting that celebrates your unique story and strength.
